SUMMARY:

Every time I lead a creative project I look for the "wtf" effect: something different and fresh that can both solve business challenges and make brands famous and hot. I've worked for some of the most creative shops in Brazil, such as Almap BBDO, OGILVY São Paulo and DM9DDB. My background is digital and direct advertising, but I spent the last 7 years leading integrated and traditional campaigns as well. My recent creative leadership at W3haus helped the agency to become the most awarded Brazilian independent agency in Cannes Lions 2016. I was lucky enough to win more than 140 advertising awards trophies, including 21 Cannes Lions (4 this year), London International Advertising Awards, One Show , DMA Echo Awards, Clio Awards, among many others. However, much more than these awards, I am proud of helping my clients to innovate and build successful business cases for their companies. I was also a jury member for some important festivals like Cannes Lions, D&AD (2017 Direct Jury), London Awards, El Ojo, Fiap, among others. I was a Keynote Speaker at IAB Now Buenos Aires, Istambul The Cup, Gramado International Advertising Festival. And I've proudly concluded the Creative Leadership Programme from Berlin School, which I definitely recommend to all my friends.

FULL BIO:

I started my career in advertising back in 1999, at OgilvyOne Brazil. Nearly two years later I had already jumped from a “beginner” to an Associate Creative Director, leading a team of 8 creatives and responding for 2 major accounts (IBM and DHL). At that time I felt my career was growing too fast, so I decided to join Almap BBDO as a senior copywriter. Working there for one year I've created award winning ads for clients like Volkswagen, Audi, Greenpeace and others, helping the agency to become, for the first time in its history, the digital agency of the year in Brazil in 2007. After such an inspiring year I felt my portfolio was consistent enough for me to take a step forward, so I moved to AgenciaClick as a Creative Director.  It was a good experience but I started to be seen as a digital specialist, and I wanted much more than that. So when Dm9DDB invited me to lead the integrated thinking throughout the agency, I just couldn't say no. I've worked there for almost 5 years and proudly helped the agency to be recognized as the most digital "traditional" agency in the country. After that I went to Rio (a great city to live, indeed) as a CD in charge of leading the integrated thinking at NBS. Time to come back to São Paulo, where I spent one year as Creative Director for IBM, Coke Olympics, Allianz and Philips at Ogilvy, one of the hottest creative shops in the world. Finally, I was invited to join W3haus, the biggest digital independent agency in the country, to work as Creative Vice President and help the agency enter the integrated post digital world. After 2 years working there we managed to turn the shop into the most awarded independent agency in Cannes Lions 2016.

I was lucky enough to win more than 140 advertising awards trophies, including 21 Cannes Lions (4 this year)  London International Advertising Awards, One Show , DMA Echo Awards, Clio Awards, NY Festivals, among many others. However, much more than these awards, I am proud of helping my clients to innovate and build successful business cases for their companies.

I was also a jury member for some important festivals like Cannes Lions, D&AD (2017 Direct Jury), London Awards, Mouse Awards, El Ojo Festival, Fiap, Desachate Uruguai, Brazilian Creative Festival, among others. I was a Keynote Speaker at IAB Now Buenos Aires, Istambul The Cup, Gramado International Advertising Festival, FAAP and UNISA, UNIP Araraquara.

And I've proudly concluded the Creative Leadership Programme from Berlin School, which I definitely recommend to all my friends.
